I was so very thrilled when I received this towel wrap! I thought I’d struck gold! It was so thick and luxurious! The label said it was 100% Turkish cotton and it certainly feels like it is. The price was so reasonable that I was considering buying one for everyone I knew, and more for myself. But then I washed it. It came out of the drier looking like an old rag, but only on the inside. The outside still looks nice, but the inside looks like it was shredded. My theory is that it snagged on its own Velcro, except that all the other towels in the load came out fine. I had washed it in cold water on a delicate setting with other like coloured towels, so it’s strange that, if it was the Velcro, that they weren’t damaged as well. When I wash it again I plan to close the Velcro and hope for the best. I still give it three stars because it still looks nice on the outside and fits well and does it’s job.It really was the most beautiful towel wrap and seemed to be excellent quality so if you decide to buy it I recommend that you close the Velcro together (which is very strong Velcro by the way). I might even buy another and try that. It’s that nice!
