I have a white car. I detail it about every 4-6 months; claybar and all. Everytime I would finish, I would still inevitably find the small orange spots from oxidation. After doing some research I came across Iron X. It's expensive but worked great. After the success with that product, I decided to try Tri-X since it claims to remove tar too.It worked great! I used nearly the entire bottle on the whole car (2014 Ford Focus Hatchback) so just figure that in to your detailing regimine. I had to apply the product several times on the rear hatch because of how severe the oxidation had become. Once I was done, I began to claybar and finish detailing. I only noticed a few orange spots when using the claybar, so just know it won't get everything on its own. It made the job a lot easier though.The only downsides to this product are cost, smell and quantity that has to be used to get the job done. The time saved, ease of use and effectiveness of this product far outweigh the downsides. This is a must have product.
