Two things to say about this. One is about quality, the other about size.Quality: Was hoping for something with a little more weight. I've worn high-quality waffle kimonos/robes (in 5-star hotels), and this kind of falls short of that. I kind of suspected that given that it's not 100% cotton (60% Cotton, 40% Polyester). But I took a chance anyway. The material is much thinner than I'd of liked, especially at the price point. Paid about $50 for this but now think I wouldn't have paid more than half that. (Would definitely pay $50 for the high-quality, all-cotton, waffle kimonos/robes I've used in in 5-star hotels.) All that said, I think this is going to make a good summer robe--when you want something lighter. Not so good when it's cold out and want something with some heft and warmth.Size: Took a chance here too. This is less the manufacture's fault than mine, but I hope my notes help others. I got mixed reviews about size in previous reviews. Some said the robe was bigger than expected, others smaller. When I purchased this robe, there were only two sizes available: Medium/Large and X-Large/XX-Large. I'm 5 foot 7 inches tall and weigh about 150 pounds. I would have ordered a Small if they'd had it available, but I took a chance and ordered the Medium/Large, hoping maybe it would fit smaller than expected (as some reported). Well, it fits like Medium/Large: it was a bit bigger than I'd like. In the product pic, the sleeves show that they fall right below the elbows and the length in the middle of the calves while standing up. That would be the ideal fit. When the robe arrived, I tried it on brand new out of the package. The sleeves actually fell just a tad below my wrist--too long: so long I felt like I had to roll the sleeves up to get them out of the way when doing dishes. And the length was just a few inches above my ankle. That was disappointing. It's wearable but not ideal, and at this price you want ideal.I have since sent the robe to be washed and dried. It shrank just a bit so that's good for me. The sleeves now fall just above my wrist and the length about 6 inches above my ankles. Better but still not perfect. Maybe it'll shrink even more on subsequent washes and drying cycles.Summation: OK but not not ideal for the price point. Material not as weighty as I'd like and the size wasn't what I expected (partially my fault as I should have orders a small if there was one available--but I took a chance on some reports saying the size was smaller than expected.)Hope this helps others make an informed decision.
