So glad I bought this! Seasoned and affordable. I use this skillet at least 3-4x every week. Sometimes every day. Buy it.the fact that this is "pre milled" makes it the best choice. it is smooth and takes the seasoning really well. still looks like new and has gotten "less sticky" with use. Just remember to care for it properly, clean after every use with only hot water and a light coating of oil to store. season after 3 uses.. I highly recomendI did not like this pan at first. the bottom is milled so you can see that and feel it. Like little burrs. I seasoned it 4 times. still can feel the milling. I used it and food stuck pretty good. after cleaning, another seasoning, and cooking with it 6 more times, it started releasing the food nicely. I have to baby this as the seasoning does not seem to stick to that milled surface. Each time I use it, reoil, and heat it. It now works well. people need to realize that cast iron requires extra expenses. I use more paper towels now because they go on the pan. new tools, scrubbers, chain mail, brush.... but the food does taste good.This is the easiest-to-use cast iron pan I’ve ever worked with. It’s not heavy at all but it is also smaller than I would have liked. I think 2 inches more would have been great. It’s a well-balanced pan and the included scrubber is a must-have. Do yourself a favor and just buy and use the recommended oil. While it’s more than I would have liked to spend, it does give it a pretty good coating.Greater Goods Heirloom Cast Iron is a polished smooth ~ Finished ~ skillet at a reasonable price.
