In general, it's made of very heavy metal and feels solid.The finish is much less satisfying: after removing the protective materials (after the install!!!), I tried to slide my hand along the rail and felt numerous dings and annoying imperfections. They are also visible upon close inspection, but not too much.I guess, overall it's okay, but not great, passable if you are going to use it wearing gloves or something.Would buy a product from this manufacturer again.
